Where the money goes
Two percent of annual gross revenue, to takahē recovery.
Not two percent of profit, and not two percent of something vague. Two percent of annual gross revenue, given through the New Zealand Nature Fund, and I publish the dollar figure every year.

There are only a few hundred takahē left. The good part is that you can go and meet one: they live at Tāwharanui Open Sanctuary, ninety minutes north of Auckland and directly on the road to the Bay of Islands, and on Tiritiri Matangi in the gulf. Both are on days I run.
The vehicle
Hybrid today, fully electric by 2028.
The Tiaki Promise
A commitment every visitor to New Zealand is asked to make: travel safely, tread lightly, and leave the place as you found it.
Wording to verify before launch. The Takahē Recovery Programme is run by the Department of Conservation with Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tahu as a primary partner sharing decision-making, and takahē is a taonga to Ngāi Tahu. Donating to the programme does not make this business a partner of DOC, and no DOC branding may be used. The NZ Nature Fund's charity registration and donee status also need confirming before any tax treatment is claimed.
