Who I work alongside, and what it means.
When I put a tour together I work alongside three organisations. Rather than line up three logos and leave you to guess what they mean, here is what each connection is and why it should matter to you.

Tourism New Zealand
The national tourism organisation. It markets New Zealand to the world and sets the standards the industry is expected to meet, including the Tiaki Promise that everyone travelling with me is asked to keep.
When I arrange a tour I work within those standards. It is the reason the itineraries do not simply chase whatever is trending. The places on these tours are chosen on their own merits, not because they are having a moment.

Department of Conservation
DOC manages a third of New Zealand, including most of the forest, coast and island sanctuaries these tours visit. Commercial operators taking guests onto public conservation land do so under DOC rules.
Arranging a day in those places means working to DOC rules. Track discipline, no feeding anything, and kauri dieback hygiene are not my preferences, they are conditions I keep to on your behalf.

Auckland Council
Auckland Council manages the regional parks and the Hauraki Gulf reserves that several of the single-day tours use, and it licenses the passenger services that operate in the region.
Getting you into Tawharanui, the Waitakere ranges or the gulf islands means working alongside the council as a known and compliant operator, which is what keeps that access open.

It does not claim that Living in the Moment is a member of, partnered with, or accredited by any of them. The images beside each block are representative photography, not the organisations' official logos. Those government marks may only be shown with written permission, and a DOC concession, Tourism Industry Aotearoa membership or Auckland Council licence number can be added in Tina and stated plainly, which is stronger than any logo.
Licences and safety
Separately from the above, and verifiable: a full passenger service licence, a P endorsement on the driver licence, and a current Certificate of Fitness on the vehicle. The specifics are on the vehicle section of the sustainability page.
